Jaipur:Rajasthan's capital city is located about 260 Km from Delhi and is easily accessible by air and road. The city was built by the ruler Sawai Jai Singh II (1693-1743) in 1627. Ajmer: Ajmer, famous pilgrimage destination in Rajasthan, is situated 130 km southwest of Jaipur. Ajmer town is located in between the Anna Sagar Lake and the Aravalli Ranges. The 13th-century, Sufi Saint Hazrat Khwaja Moinuddin Hasan Chisti lived in Ajmer and is buried here. His tomb has become a shrine at which pilgrims from around the world come to pray. Ranthambore: This beautiful National Park in Rajasthan was previously the Maharaja of Jaipur's hunting reserve. Located near the town of Sawai Madhopur, Ranthambore is not far from the towns of Kota and Bharatpur. With the Vindhy a and Aravalli mountains in the backdrop and near the Tahr Desert, Ranthambore is covered with semi-desert vegetation and is home to tigers, deer, wild boar, monkeys, birds and many more wild animals.
